I’m a power & energy engineer working in nuclear power, with a strong
interest in embedded systems, power electronics,
and general IT. This page is a simple overview
of what I do, what I’ve built, and where I’m heading.

Now
What I do today
I currently work as an engineer in the nuclear power sector in Korea,
focusing on components, electrical systems, automation and reliability.
My background is in electrical / power engineering, and I’ve worked both
on the operations side and as a component engineer.
Outside of work, I run a small home lab where I experiment with:
Website(like this) for coding, analysis, and note-taking
Infrastructure and automation using a home server and web-based tools
Power electronics, control algorithms, and embedded firmware concepts
Nuclear powerPower systemsEmbedded / control
Projects
Things I’ve built or worked on
A few selected projects and experiences that represent how I like to work:
Plant engineering & overhauls – coordination and execution
of maintenance projects (e.g. major component work during outages, RCP stator refurbishment, SWGR maintenance etc),
balancing safety, schedule, and cross-team communication.
Grid-connected solar ESS (academic / lab project) – modeled and
implemented control for a grid-tied converter using MATLAB/Simulink and a
TMS320F28335 DSP, focusing on stable power transfer and efficiency.
Home lab & server – hosting services like a web terminal
(Wetty), internal tools, and dashboards for experiments, learning, and daily use.
Robotics / drone ideas – planning and prototyping concepts for a
small surveillance drone and control logic for autonomous patrol.

Where I’m heading
I’m actively shaping my next steps around design and analysis rather
than pure maintenance. My medium- to long-term interests include:
Graduate-level work in power electronics & robotics or related applied fields
Roles that combine power engineering, control, and software
Working abroad (for example, in the US) on energy, power, or AI-augmented systems
Building tools that connect industrial engineering with modern software and AI
I like projects where the result is real, measurable, and used by someone –
whether that’s a stable power system, a reliable plant component, or a small tool that
makes people work easier.
